For soaking & Boiling,

  • 1 Cup - Chickpeas
  • 2 Cup - Of Water
  • ½ Tsp - salt

For Curry,

  • 1 Tbsp - Cooking oil
  • ½ Tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 - Bay leaves
  • 3-4 - Dry red chilies
  • 1 Cup - Onion (sliced)
  • ½ Cup - Tomato puree
  • 1 Tbsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp - Alco turmeric powder
  • 1 Tsp - Alco Red Hot Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp - Alco coriander powder
  • 1 Tsp - Alco Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1 Tsp - Alco Garam Masala
  • To Taste - Salt
  • 1 Tbsp - Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Soak chickpeas overnight; add water and salt after putting all the chickpeas in the pressure cooker.
  • Let the pressure cooker whistle 3 to 4 times until the chickpeas become soft.
  • Heat a pan; add oil and cumin seeds.
  • Add bay leaves and dry red chilies to the hot oil.
  • Add sliced onions to the pan, and saute until they become pink.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste to the pan, and add tomato puree.
  • Add Alco turmeric powder, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  • Add garam masala over the top for extra zing to the chana masala.
  • Cover the lid and let the spices mix over the chickpeas.
  • Garnish with the freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve with roti, naan, or steamed rice.

  • 500 Gms - Chicken pieces
  • ¼ Tsp - Alco garam masala
  • ½ Tsp - Alco turmeric powder
  • ½ Tsp - Alco Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
  • ¼ Tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 Tbsp - Curd
  • ¼ Tsp - Salt

For Curry,

  • 2 Tbsp - Oil
  • 1 - Bay leaf
  • 2 - Green cardamom
  • 1 - Cinnamon stick
  • 2-4 - Cloves
  • 1 Cup - Chopped onion
  • ¾ Tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1-2 - Green chilies
  • ½ Cup - Tomato puree
  • ½ Tsp - Alco Kashmiri red chili powder
  • ½ Tsp - Salt
  • ½ Tsp - Alco Garam Masala
  • 2 Tbsp - Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Add chicken pieces, ginger-garlic paste, Alco red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and curd into a large bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients well in a bowl.
  • Let the chicken coated with spices to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a pan; add bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
  • Add green chilies and chopped onions and saute for some time.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree.
  • Add salt, red chili powder, and garam masala.
  • Saute well and let the spices cook well.
  • Add the marinated chicken and saute for some time.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves to the chicken and water to make Curry.
  • Cover the lid and let the spices enter over the chicken.

Chicken Butter Masala

BUTTER CHICKEN

Chicken butter masala is the tangy gravy paired with jeera rice, steamed rice, kulcha, or naan. It comprises smooth, tangy gravy with juicy chicken pieces. It is the most popular chicken recipe available all around the globe.

Ingredients

For Marination,

  • ½ Cup - Curd
  • 500 Gms - Chicken pieces
  • 1 Tsp - Alco Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1 Tsp - Alco garam masala
  • A pinch - of Alco turmeric powder
  • ¼ Tsp - Salt
  • 1 Tbsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Tbsp - Oil
  • 1 Tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 Tsp - Kasuri methi 

For Curry,

  • 1 Tbsp - Oil
  • 1 ½ Cup - Onions (sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp - Ginger
  • 1 Tbsp - Garlic
  • To Taste - Salt
  • 2 Tsp - Alco Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 4 Cups - Chopped tomatoes
  • ½ Cup - Cashews
  • 1 Tsp - Alco Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp - Sugar
  • 1 ½ Cup - Water
  • 2 Tbsp - Butter
  • 1 Tbsp - Ghee
  • 2 Tsp - Kasuri methi
  • ½ Cup - Chilled cream 

Instructions

  • Take chicken pieces into a large bowl and add curd, Alco Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, salt, oil, lemon juice, and kasuri methi.
  • Let the ingredients mix well in a bowl.
  • Let the chicken marinate for a long duration.
  • Take sliced onions, peeled ginger and put them into a pan to saute for a while.
  • Add the garlic to the pan, and add Alco red chili powder.
  • Add the tomatoes, salt, and cashews.
  • Cook until the tomatoes become mushy.
  • Add Alco garam masala, coriander powder, and sugar to the mixture.
  • Turn the heat off and after cooling, put the ingredients in a mixer jar and blend them into a smooth paste.
  • Add butter, tomato-onion puree, and Alco red chili powder to the pan.
  • Heat another pan and add oil, and add the marinated chicken pieces.
  • Cook the butter masala over slow heat.
  • After the butter masala thickens, add ghee and hot water.
  • Add the grilled chicken pieces to the butter chicken sauce.
  • Add Alco garam masala and kasuri methi.
  • Pour the chilled cream over the butter chicken and add coriander leaves.
  • Serve with jeera rice, naan, roti, or paratha.
